Malli Interpreter

Privacy policy

Malli Interpreter recognizes speech and translates the recognized text and recent context. Audio from the connected microphone is used. Inform conversation participants about audio transmission and obtain the necessary consent.

Audio, text and context are processed by OpenAI and Google over encrypted connections through the operator’s relay service. Connection information such as IP addresses is processed, and processing may occur abroad. The external provider’s retention policy applies separately.

If you use Google sign-in and passes, the operator’s server processes account identifiers, balances, purchase, deduction and refund identifiers and times, and session information. Google handles sign-in and payments. Conversation content is not saved as history files; it is processed on screen and in session memory. Language, display and consent settings are stored on your device.

Stopping ends audio collection and transmission. Without consent, audio features do not start. Deleting device data does not delete server accounts, transaction records or data already sent externally. Contact us below about retention, deletion and privacy rights. Transaction records may be subject to statutory retention duties.

Account deletion requests and retention

Email ccolaju@gmail.com with the subject ‘Malli Interpreter account deletion’. Include the email used for Google sign-in and the scope of your request. Do not send passwords or verification codes.

After verifying your identity, we delete account-link information and related personal data that are not subject to legal retention. We reply with the scope affecting shared-pass balances, the processing schedule and the outcome. Uninstalling the app or clearing device data does not delete the server account.

Under Korean e-commerce law, contract/withdrawal and payment/service-supply records are retained for 5 years, and consumer complaint/dispute records for 3 years. Records are destroyed without undue delay after their retention period ends. Legally required records remain retained as necessary after a deletion request.
