Malli Subtitles turns audio from content playing in other apps into subtitles in your chosen language. Audio played by other apps is used; surrounding microphone sound and screen video are not collected. Subtitles and audio capture require Android permissions and screen-sharing consent at each start.
Audio and subtitle text are sent over encrypted connections to OpenAI or Google Cloud for translation. Connection information, such as IP addresses, is processed, and processing may take place abroad. The providers’ retention policies apply.
If you use Google sign-in and passes, the operator’s server processes account identifiers, balances, purchase, deduction and refund identifiers and times, and session information. Google handles sign-in and payments. The app does not save played audio or subtitles as history files. Language, display and consent settings are stored on your device.
Stopping ends audio collection and transmission. Without consent, audio features do not start. Deleting device data does not delete server accounts, transaction records or data already sent externally. Contact us below about retention, deletion and privacy rights.
